Kenwood TK-3710 6 Pack

This pack gives you six Kenwood ProTalk TK-3710 handhelds set up for a crew, with your choice of charger and audio accessories. For Black Friday we are also throwing in a spare high-capacity battery for every radio, so you get six extra batteries at no cost.

The TK-3710 is a licence-free 80 channel UHF CB radio, and it is built tough. It carries IP54, IP55 and IP67 ratings, which means it will survive a dunk in a metre of water for half an hour, and it has passed eleven MIL-STD-810 tests including blowing rain. If your radios live on a worksite, in a ute or on a boat, that matters more than anything else on the spec sheet.

Audio is a full watt through the internal speaker, or 500 mW through a speaker mic or earpiece, so you can hear calls over machinery. The volume and channel knobs sit on top where you can find them without looking, and there is an eight character display and a status LED that changes colour depending on what the radio is doing. Nine programmable keys (seven on the front, two on the side) let you put the functions you actually use somewhere handy.

For busy channels the radio has 50 CTCSS tones and 104 DCS codes. Set your group up on one and you will only hear your own people, even if someone else is on the same channel down the road.

If you later need more than CB, the same radio can be programmed with up to 128 zones of 128 channels between 450 and 520 MHz for licensed commercial use. You would need the appropriate licence for that, but it means the pack does not become redundant if the business grows.

Each radio is built to ISO 9001 standards and goes through Kenwood’s own testing before it ships.
